Last night Brian and I somehow started talking in Bible speak (thou, doest, -eth, etc.). We carried on in conversation like that for a good 15 minutes I think. For some reason, I started to laugh at him, probably because he added -eth at the end of every word even when it was inappropriate to do so, i.e. "You are looking beautiful tonight...eth." As I as laughing he asked me, "Why doth thou make thyself merry at me?" And it was so much funnier than if he had said, "Why are you laughing at me?" that I just laughed and laughed and laughed.
I love to laugh. (And lucky for me, I have a husband who helps me do that a lot.)
Today, after having a wound-up morning and afternoon by finishing my job at the bindery (my last day forever!) and taking a final, I decided to go home, get into my leggings and t-shirt and do some YOGA. I am becoming increasingly fond of yoga, and Brian even likes to do it with me! (Can you believe that, ladies?) I love that I get to focus on my breath and let out the tension in my body. It's good "me time," and I love feeling like I'm taking care of myself. It's important to do that. Doing yoga reminds me that I have a spirit and a body that need to be cared for, nourished, and rejuvenated. It reminds me that I need to BREATHE.
