1st Easter Together

Our Easter baskets! I really wanted to keep the tradition of hiding Easter baskets  to be found on Easter morning. So even though it's just the two of us, we decided to play the Easter Bunny for each other! The night before we went to Smith's and bought some candy, fake grass, and, of course, baskets. We took turns hiding the each other's basket while the other waited outside. We searched for them the next morning and it was surprisingly difficult to find them considering our apartment is less than 600 square feet! Brian was really tricky. He had to give me a few clues (for which he charged a kiss each) before I could find mine. 

Our Easter feast! We decided to keep it simple and stay home for Easter dinner. I made a roast for the first time, and I'm happy to say it turned out great! I also made mashed potatoes and bought rolls provided by Smith's bakery ;)
